Zany B

Hello I'm Zane Bevers the man behind Zany B. I'm from Fort Worth, Texas but I currently reside in Knoxville, Tennessee (Just like George Strait). My music is acoustic country dealing with my own feelings and life experiences while intertwining it with my style of humor.

I've been interested in music ever since I was a kid. I was always in a choir in high school and college and even got my music degree from UNT. I love many different genres of music. Country, Rock, Rap, Blues, Pop, Folk, Alternative. I'm always looking for new ways to use their influences in my music as well as create my own sound people will remember.

Growing up I listened to legendary artists like Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Elvis Presley and I've always loved their sound and wanted to make it my own. Later I've heard comedy artists like "Weird" Al Yankovic and Tenacious D and fell in love with parodies and comedy songs.  As much as I want to do serious country, I also want to be one of the pioneers of comedy country or parody country songs. However that only scratches the surface of my inspiration. From the powerful anthems of Queen to the laid back beach music of Jack Johnson, from the soulful performances of Amy Winehouse to the catchy beats and effortless flow of Kendrick Lamar, I'm inspired  by a multitude of bands and artists with a myriad of styles. I'm always learning from them and implementing things they do in my music.
